Ivory Clasp Replacement Bag

If you read either of my previous posts about Ivory Clasp you will know I requested a replacement bag because of some imperfections of the bag I received in my first month. You can see the first bag below:

I messaged them about the issues with the bag and they sent me out a replacement. Here is what came in the mail yesterday.

This is a nice bag. I like it a lot! It is a great full shape in a bright red. The leather is real and the dye work is flawless.  The bottom is a red suede. The brand is Splendid, one that I have heard of an often looked at while shopping a Nordstrom. As with before the bag was wrapped impeccably and the shipping box was sturdy and solid.  

The bag retails for $128 and absolutely fulfills all the requirement of their promise. I am so glad that Ivory Clasp made this right and sent me a bag way better than the first one! Work Wear Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday! It is the middle of the week and usually that means I have finally woken up on time, remebered to put concealer under my eyes and am wearing clean clothes out of the dryer. And it means you get to see what I am wearing this week!

So much of closet is black and white for work. I like going simple and classic and knowing that everything in closet can work together. The shirt is Everlane's Silk pocket in White. It goes for $65. I am totally obsessed with Everlane at the moment. Their website is located here. They are a great brand to buy if you want to know where your clothes are coming from. They aren't all made in the US, but you can info on every step of the process. Additionally they show you how much of a mark up they are putting on each item. Everlane says traditional retail on this shirt is $215.  What I love best is that is an everyday silk shirt. It feels like a little bit of luxury when I wear it. I am wearing a medium and it is a little small in the hips, if I order another I will probably get a large. Here is the shirt shown below on the model, from the website:

On the bottom I am wearing my all time favorite pants!They look like trousers and feel like leggings. I have a full range of motion in these babies, when I do yoga in my office I don't feel like I am going to bust a seam. They are supposed to be cropped, but I am so short they sit at ankle length for me. So if you have longer legs expect more of a cropped look. I bought them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so they were a bargain. I recommend sizing up one size as they run a tiny bit small, I am usually an 8 and wearing a 10.
