Book of the Month #2 "The woman in Cabin 10

I am always so excited to get my Book of the Month Box! It was perfect timing as i had recently finished my book from last month. You can see my previous review here.  Here's a quick recap of the box! On the first of the month you are presented with 5 options. Each book is selected by one their Judges. Each month has a guest Judge, July was Arianna Huffington. Each Judge summarizes their book and why they loved it. and then you get to select the book of your choice.
Your book ships out to you by the 6th of the month (unless you are a new member, in which case it comes as soon as you choose).

Here is my box on my grandmother's quilt, I was so excited I nearly forgot to take photos. Each box so far has always included a little note printed on high quality card stock with a graphic.

This month they sent me a wine koozie! I am am so in love with this. While I am primarily a red wine drinker in this humidity and heat you need the chilled wine! I don't like adding ice because it dilutes the alcohol.... and the flavor. I know it get their branding out there, but I am a sucker for anything free.

This month I have an exciting mystery novel to read. I wouldn't normally choose a mystery, but it is set on an exotic cruise ship. The first 50 pages remind me of "Girl on a Train" with the narrator who can't quite get her life together and the feel of something important in the future. She is also British and references her flat. Imagining her with a British accent improves even the best novels.

The book mark quote is Lena Dunham this time! I am totally a sucker for her and the projects she is involved in. What I love, other than having new highly rated books on my doorstep is all the little things that go into making these boxes. Monthly challenges, a newsletter for people who are reading the same book as you. Simple but cute packaging to ensure that the book arrives in good shape. I save all the little cards and book marks that come with my books. Just a quick shout out to Book of the Month, thanks for ensuring I don't have to leave my apartment to read a great book!
